JetPort 5604 series is a 4-port Redundant Serial Device Server. JetPort 5604 provides four 3-in-1 RS232/422/485 serial interfaces. Users can use one IP address, Redundant Ethernet paths (RTTD Technology) to control max. 4 serial devices over the Ethernet. To configure JetPort Commander, the easy-to-use utility for Windows or choose HTTPS/SSH for secured management. JetPort 5604 series are also equipped with two types of power inputs, four 5V TTL Digital Inputs and two Digital Outputs. These are value-added feature for user to construct the field installation.
World’s First RTTD Technology
RTTD, Redundant to the Device JetPort 5604 series provide dual Ethernet ports. When the dual Ethernet ports are connected, only one path will be activated, this is known as Primary path. The un-activated path will be the Backup path. When the primary path is down, the backup path will recover Ethernet connection in less than 200ms.

JetPort 5604 RTTD technology works well with JetNet 4000/5000 series Super Ring technology, which provides users complete redundant solution from network infrastructure to the serial devices.
Four Serial Interfaces Can Be Configured for Different Mode
JetPort 5604 series have four serial interfaces, and all of the interfaces can be configured with different serial interface types, such as RS232, RS422, 2-wire RS485 or 4-wire RS485. Each of the ports also can be configured with different service modes. You can configure serial port 1 to Virtual COM mode, serial port 2 to TCP server, serial port 3 to TCP client and serial port 4 to UDP mode. All of the serial ports have their own settings and can work well at the same time.
Up to 5 Simultaneous Connections
To JetPort series provide you up to 5 simultaneous Virtual COM, TCP Server, TCP Client, TCP Tunnel and UDP connections. All the services are developed over the TCP/IP protocol stacks. You can easily connect to the serial devices over Ethernet and plan your serial to Ethernet applications.
Windows Virtual COM
After installing JetPort Windows driver, the serial port on the JetPort can be accessed by the Windows as the virtual COM port. Users do not have to modify the existing program to upgrade the legacy serial communications into serial over IP application.
You can also use TCP/UDP socket programs to control JetPort’s serial port. JetPort can be configured as TCP Server, to listen to TCP connection request, or as TCP Client, to actively request TCP connection to send data, or as UDP mode for multiple destination transmission.
5V/TTL Digital Input and Digital Output
JetPort 5604 series provide four digital inputs and two digital outputs. It allows users to connect the termination units’ 5V TTL digital input/output. JetPort Commander allows you to monitor the status of the DI and DO, and assign the value of 0 or 1 to DO. JetPort also provides one data port for user to program DI/O “get” and “set” commands figure on the right. The logic Low (Value=0) power voltage is 0-0.8V, 0.8V is the max value. The logic High (Value =1) power voltage is 2-5V, 2V is the min value. JetPort also opens one TCP socket port for DI/DO programming commands.
